             An entrepreneur develops a business model, acquires the human and other required resources, and make the business to be successful with the motive to get profit and practice of difference strategic. Individuals are increasingly expected to seek out their own opportunities, actively create value and behave ethically, rather than faithfully follow rules and routines set by others. In particular, today's young people need to learn to be enterprising, both when working for others and when setting up their own businesses.

        Based on this coursework, there are many traits for an entrepreneur. So, some traits were discussed here with a concrete example and entrepreneurs.Moreover ,all the successful entrepreneur’s stories also defines how they became famous and successful.

        Other than that, a bibliography of the successful entrepreneur Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin was mentioned in this coursework too.This entrepreneur has many good traits that had bring him success. 

             In conclusion, all these positive traits are important for an entrepreneur to become successful and famous. A successful entrepreneur is important for the country and the society because they could be the main reason for their economy and social development in every country.

Traits of Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew Kee Sin: Perceptiveness

As a leader in the business group, he or she should poses a good perceptiveness to aware the current situation and predict the future needs or event that can be occur to achieve a competitive advantage than others. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew Kee Sin was having a great perceptiveness as he embark a few new projects in certain area such as KL EcoCity because he had noticed that there is a needs of building for either prime commercial office, high-end retails outlets, high class serviced department around the area as an integrated green luxury area. This project could serve a great income for SP Setia before he leave the group. 

Furthermore, after he joined Eco World Development Group Berhad, he also able to notice that the imbalance of demand and supply of building or housing in United Kingdom. He had proposed and have a joint venture with another company in United Kingdom’s companies. This perceptiveness had help him to launch a new 3 housing project in United Kingdom and also help Eco World to explore a new market.

Traits of Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew Kee Sin: Initiative

Initiative is a traits that are crucial for an entrepreneur to achieve their business result. As a new step to make a changes and gain the first competitive with other competitors, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew Kee Sin had taken the initiative to collaborate with the overseas with few projects.

Before he leaves SP Setia Berhad, he had come out with a BatterSea Power Station with the United Kingdom. This project is expected will generate more than RM 40 billion over 12 to 15 years for SP Setia Berhad. Furthermore, he also brought the SP Setia Berhad to Melbourne to for the project of building around 300 apartments in the country.

After he joined with Eco World Development Group Berhad, he had also came out with another joint venture project with the United Kingdom – Ballymore Group, with 3 housing projects. These projects was will have different pricing point and allow different customer to do their investment on the projects.

With the initiative taken by Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew Kee Sin, he had successfully diversify the two group business area and increase their expandability.

As a successful entrepreneur, one of the characteristic which is foresight should be owned by them. To expand and build up an empire of the business, it is very important for an entrepreneur to identify and foresight the situation. He should have a foresight and keen to analyze the situation around the business, identify the market position and the driving force to ensure that he could gain the competitive advantage compare to others. The characteristics could lead them to establish and formulate a strategic plans to compete with others.

One of the entrepreneur that poses this characteristic is Lee Byung-chull and Lee Kunhee (son), an entrepreneur which build up his empire with Samsung Group. Despite of other electronic devices, Samsung had varied their business to many area such as insurances, motors and other else. The greatest success of Samsung now is the Samsung’s electronic such as mobile devices, tablet and laptop. Lee Kunhee had poses a great foresight to the mobile phone market as a great market to explore. Samsung was a great player in this area before, however, he had foreseen that this area could be improve and they finally come out with the Galaxy series. This project had made them successfully compete with Apple with their technology strengths until now and had made them as one of the major player in this industry.
