Versatility is the
ability to adapt ourselves to the changes of surrounding us. The changes might
be physically or mentally. For example, the changes of computer era is
providing more advance technology from time to time. The businessman shall be
used to the changes and have to learn to use the technology devices to gain the
competitive advantages in the market. From the background of Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew
Kee Sin, we know that he graduated in University of Malaya as a holder of
Bachelor of Economic Degree (Business Administration). He started his working
life in a local merchant bank as a banker and became real estate developer
after some years. It showed that he is willing to take risk and play different
roles in the working life to develop his idea into a business.
It also indicated
that an entrepreneur shall be able to play different roles in the business
environment to enable them to know more on the careers and able to manipulate
the roles to achieve the organization’s goals in future. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Liew
Kee Sin started his real estate business with a small company based in Johor
had enable him to act as different roles, such as the marketing, purchasing,
administration and so on. Thus, he will be easily cheated by others as he
gained the knowledge of different career by experiences before.
